Montefiore Einstein welcomes Rachel Offenbacher, MD, who joins the faculty as an Attending Physician in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and Cellular Therapy at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein.
This is a continuation of Dr. Offenbacher’s time with Montefiore Einstein, where she completed her pediatric residency and pediatric hematology-oncology fellowship. Dr. Offenbacher’s clinical focus is on pediatric sarcomas, the prevention and treatment of which she also researches in the translational sarcoma research lab at Montefiore Einstein.
Dr. Offenbacher has won the Leo M. Davidoff Society Teaching Award in 2020 and 2022, as well as the Pediatric Research Day Oral Presentation Award from CHAM in 2022. She is also an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, Marrow and Blood Cell Transplantation at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
